About this course

This course aims to inform you about what hardware is when it comes to digital signage powered by ScreenCloud, as well as to explain why we’ve chosen the specific hardware recommendations and partnerships that we have, which we believe work best with our software, via our ScreenCloud player app. We will explain what the differences are when it comes to each of the operating systems we support, and what each has to offer, as well as what different benefits come with the different form factors and functionalities our recommended electronic devices provide for our customers. We also explain our journey from supporting much more third party hardware when we first began until how we eventually build out own software and provided our very own hardware powered by ScreenCloud OS.

With this course, we hope to give an understanding of the hardware journey that our customers take, and to familiarize you with the different types of hardware that our customers use, and why we have selected certain brands and device models as our hardware recommendations.
